Points of Business:

  *   Passed Motions:
  *   CASACC will send the Kapoor family our condolences and a gift card to the New Krishna his favorite Indian Restaurant
  *   Brad Taggart and Tyson Tozier to determine appropriate action
  *   Formation of a Constitutional Assembly to codify the Rights and Responsibilities of Cincinnati and Surrounding Areas Curry Club Members
  *   Tyson Tozier to request ideas for time and place from CASACC members
  *   Failed Motions:
  *   Removal of membership privileges of Nathan Murray

Additional Points of Interest:

  *   JJ Wurtz was issued the first ever Red Card for his scandalous lack of a write up on not one but two monthly gatherings.  JJ will serve this Red Card at the next CASACC gathering.

  *   Nate Murray failed to show for 5 months and subsequently failed to be dismissed from CASACC for his impertinence.  These cumulative failures led to President Tyson issuing the second ever Red Card (and the first to be served).

  *   RJ Poddar was issued a yellow card shortly after the previous gathering for a lack of intestinal fortitude.  Subsequently, RJ earned a second yellow card for responding as 'tentative' and failing to clarify his intentions either 24 hours in advance or at all.  Therefor, RJ has been issued a Red Card to be served at the next CASACC gathering.

The evening began with the traditional toast to Alan Patten, whose jacket; heavy with responsibility and honor, could be found upon the shoulders of President Tyson.  The jacket is an elegant, double breasted cut of high quality, Navy-Blue Polyester material.  The jacket's accents are an understated burnished gold.  Within the jacket resides the true power of the Presidential office.  The folded black plastic gleaming with reflected light holds The Cards.  Red and Yellow, The Cards hold the power of respect and bind CASACC to the iron will of the President.

The evening took a turn toward the solemn as respects were paid to long time member, Edward Kapoor.  Toasts were held in his honor and several members provided heart felt oratory in his memory.   It was established through a motion that CASACC would send its collective condolences to the Kapoor family in the form of flowers and a note.  Leom quipped that seeing as how Ed had accepted the invitation to attend this months meeting it would only be appropriate that he be given a yellow card for failing to show.  Ed was known to respect the rules as they deserve.

Two other motions were brought before CASACC.  The first ultimately resulted in a Red Card being issued to Nate Murray.  The second will result in a constitutional assembly or review board being formed to improve the already high quality CASACC constitution for Cincinnati's ever expanding self importance. It was also noted during these discussions that CASACC may have recorded a new record for attendance.  At this point the success of the evening was almost assured thanks to the august leadership of President Tyson.

Orders were taken and dinner delivered.  It was noted, in review, that service was good even if our waiter may have had difficulty with a few drink orders.  As always, the first concern of many members was the spice level of the meal.  The general consensus seemed to be that the spice level was below expected averages.  Duane Kauffman ordered his food "the way the chef would eat it" and claimed that this caused a heightening of tastiness as the meal wore on.  Overall, criticism ranged from Matt Cable's "nothing special" to Eric Eslinger's "fantastic taste".

Once the meal was concluded we began the long wait for our checks to be delivered.  This took some time but the results were considered to be accurate even if the situation was confused by members attempting to generously pay for each others meals on travel expense.  This wait was reflected in some scores.  An oddity that played into other scores was an apparent Christmas reef decoration that seemed to have survived the holidays.  CASACC bid a fond farewell to Jacob who will begin a rotation in the UK.  We hope to see him again on his triumphant return.  Matt Cable will reside as president during CASACC’s next event.

Special thanks to Mark Malouin and Paul Foreman from the Clearwater chapter of CASACC for joining us on this fine and absurdly successful (thanks to President Tyson) evening.
