Let me first start by saying thank you for Short-Term President Hoy for the opportunity to run this fine group for a second month in a row.

Dinner this past Thursday (November 19 2015) was one of the nicest restaurants we the CASACC has visited.  I would love to have taken credit for such a good choice but as a good first time "dual-month" president is, Member Poddar suggested Indian Spice Train as an obvious choice.  In doing my proper research as most presidents do, i pulled up the website and made a phone call.  After finding out the owner of this establishment was also the owner of Bombay Brazier.  In talking with Mike he was very excited that we had chosen his restaurant for our monthly dinner.  I will say that being that I arrived a few minutes after 6 to dinner, it was a very nice touch that they had the Presidential parking spot left waiting for me.

Upon entering the restaurant I was warmly greeted, the decor was very nicely done.  After joined our group at our table I noticed respect was also being shown with me sitting at the head of the table.  Have to say this is going pretty well so far.. 🙂  The pompodons appeared to be waiting for us I expected.  Being the menu had a nice selections of soups and appetizers.  Half of the group ordered a couple types of soups while two shared a chicken platter and a couple other order a Potato Cheesecake that could pass an appetizer or a dessert, it was that good.  I have say the apps were plenty big enough for take-homes.

When the time came to dinner  the recommendations were plenty giving us many choices. All buy one member enjoyed their meal, I believe Mr. Kapoor didn’t enjoy his Globjob.. 🙂  I may be a little off on that one.  Additionally I wanted to make mention that someone may need to keep Member Taggart under control a little, in a moment of excitement he began knocking signs off the wall.  Additionally we all seemed to enjoy the tour of the space which Mike shared the stories of the different pictures on the walls.

Overall the restaurant was very enjoyable and I personally hope that we will be revisiting this place shortly.

New Business:
The biggest thing was selecting a day to hold our final 2015 December meeting.  In an effort to maximize the time in having pregame drinks and giving enough time for dinner it was decided on Friday the 11th to hold our final meeting.

Next President: Leom Holley by popular choice..
